“As soon as they were on the bus, Mike and I sat down to look at LearningRx…”
School started today, and of course Jacob pretended to be sick so he wouldn’t have to go. I took his temperature and he was fine, no symptoms. So I sent him off, poor kid. Josh was trying to cheer him up by telling jokes. He was actually being pretty funny! But it ended badly because Jake snapped at him. I’d usually get on his case for that, but I left him alone this time. I explained to Josh, that Jacob’s not upset at him, it’s just that he’s nervous about another school year. So, Josh went and hugged Jacob after that, which was sweet.
As soon as they were on the bus, Mike and I sat down to look at LearningRx online. It was really interesting. Mike needed to go to work, but I’m off on Mondays, so I stayed home and kept reading. It was kind of overwhelming, all the information! But I kept reading because I kept thinking of Heather’s daughter and how much it had helped her. Then I saw an article on PDD, and it said their method can help PDD because it treats learning problems on a very basic level – they actually change the way the brain works, and build new connections. Different kinds of disorders happen because different types of connections are weak or broken – but I guess LearningRx fixes the connections wherever there’s a weakness. So, any disorder can be improved. Makes sense to me. I decided to call.
